The Lake District is just 19 miles away (to Ullswater), where you can enjoy a trip on one of the Ullswater Steamers, walk an alpaca or enjoy a tour of a distillery. Rheged (18 miles) is great on a wet day; watch a film, see an exhibition, wander around the shops, enjoy some lunch or take part in a creative class. Entering the property, through the private entrance, you will walk into the entrance hall.
