The gorgeous architecture gives this more generic home its charm. We love the high ceilings and massive windows that flood the space with sunlight. These windows follow through the whole apartment, making every room bright and pleasant. Those looking for tonnes of personality might not be convinced by this home’s penchant for IKEA furniture. This is more than made up for, though, by its location on a pedestrian street in downtown Lisbon, within walking distance to plenty of major attractions.
Home truths: * There’s air-conditioning in the communal area, but nowhere else in the apartment
* This home is filled with a lot of IKEA furniture – design snobs might want to look elsewhere
* We wish the plants weren't made from plastic – we much prefer the real thing
