Head into the old city, a ten-minute walk away, and peruse the artisan stalls and street food offerings at trendy St Nicholas Market, where narrow streets are illuminated by stringed lights.
The decor has a touch of vintage charm, evident in the wrought-iron and dark-wood bar stools that line the breakfast bar. The kitchen is a vision of sleek white modernity, where plenty of cupboard space leaves a satisfying minimalism and clear surfaces.
