Nestled away in the Suffolk countryside, this apartment lies on an address that has been mentioned in historical records dating back to the fourteenth century. However, it's far from rustic inside. Wooden floors, a sleek white kitchen and pristine bathrooms with brick-style tiling make for a contemporary interior. During the colder months of the year, there's nothing better to do than curl up next to the log-burner in the living room, but when the weather is more agreeable, there's so much to do. Just outside, there's a private patio with a barbecue and seating ready for an alfresco feast. Elsewhere on the grounds, there's a tennis court shared only between a couple of cottages, as well as lots of wildlife to spot, from Muscovy ducks and moorhens to deer and pigs. In the local area, guests have the option of birdwatching at Orford Ness, cycling through the Sudbourne Woods Bike Park or swimming in the sea at Aldeburgh Beach.
