This charismatic apartment contains one of the finest bedrooms we’ve seen. As well as the luxurious bed, it has a beautiful ordained fireplace, a rocking chair and even a bathtub tucked away in the corner of the room. Similarly luxurious is the lounge, where sumptuous sofas are contrasted by dark-wood features. There’s only a basic main toilet, and a small kitchen – but the Chelsea location makes these flaws forgivable. You’re close to great restaurants and in walking distance of South Kensington’s museums.
Home truths: * While it is quite exciting to have a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom, this might not appeal to all guests
* The main toilet in the hallway is a saniflo toilet, meaning you can’t flush anything more than a few sheets of toilet paper
* The kitchen is big enough to prepare simple meals but not the place to flex your culinary muscles
* This home is underneath a flight path, so planes can be heard flying overhead
