Area Chester has been described as 'the jewel of the North-West'. Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of the city is the is evidence of every period of history - from the old walls and amphitheatre of Roman times, through medieval churches, Elizabethan townhouses and Georgian terraces, to Victorian restorations and 21st century architecture. The city has much to offer including shopping in and around the Tudor 'Rows' and walks along the Walls, beside the River Dee and through Grosvenor Park. Explore Chester's cathedral, visit Chester Racecourse or spend a day at Chester Zoo. Further afield, the Welsh mountains and coastline, the quaint towns and villages of Cheshire and the Wirral Peninsula with its golf courses, are all within distance, whilst frequent rail services make Liverpool, Manchester and the North Wales coast readily accessible.
Region Chester is a beautiful and historic border city. Walk its ancient walls, discover the Roman remains and experience 21st Century shopping in the unique half-timbered medieval ‘Rows’ at the city’s heart.

We are frequent visitors to Chester and stayed in a two-bed apartment in the same building earlier this year. The property has been beautifully converted, charmingly furnished and spotlessly kept. The lounge is a real 'den' at the top of the property and perfect for a few hours R&R after shopping, dining or sight-seeing. Tip - we found the carpark of the Grosvenor shopping centre good for parking. Although, expensive for short stays, it is currently £10 for 24 hours and your vehicle is secure and inside. Would be more than happy to go back.

This apartment is beautifully appointed and in a fantastic location. We nearly always stay in self catering apartments and usually find everything to be as it should be. Unfortunately the lack of customer service let this apartment down somewhat. When we arrived after a long journey at 3pm we couldn't get in as it was being cleaned. We were disappointed that the owner had not contacted us to let us know. It was a bitterly cold day, if she had we would have stayed put in the warm cafe we had just left. There was a problem with pipes leaking under the sink in the kitchen area. Contacted the owner who did get it sorted out quickly. The outside key box wasn’t working on our first day there. Despite reporting this to the owner, it still wasn't working when we left 5 days later. We also requested T-towels as there were none but never got them, ending up buying our own. I think it is important to note that in is nothing in the Skyes information about the two flights of stairs to the apartment and no lift. This was not a problem for us but it is possibly not suitable for the for elderly or disabled. It is also lacking in basics. EG: power sockets in very short supply for charging things. I think the owner is new to letting this apartment and I would like to think that these issues are just teething problems. The plus points are that is a lovely, comfortable contemporary apartment with sleek furnishings, the location couldn't be better and we also really enjoyed the living room & netflix.

This apartment is extremely difficult to fault! Classy, high quality fittings & furnished to the very highest standard - no expense spared. Located slap bang in the middle of Chester amidst the new restaurant quarter of the city, there are literally dozens of bars and eateries within five minutes walk. Yards from the City Walls and two minutes from the river; a truly special apartment.
