We came back yet again on the 3 nights for two nights deal. Our 5th visit. Never disappoints. Lovely food. Rooms are gorgeous. Staff are so friendly and professional. We love it here. Would recommend to anyone needing a break. Lisa in the falls restaurant is a gem, as are the restaurant manager, the sommelier (who knows his wines) and the reception staff who are all so welcoming. We will be back again. Can't speak highly enough of this hotel. Mary and Michael

5 stars, everything was perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful, restaurant and lounge have great food and drink. The activities were all brilliant. Archery with Colin was so much fun, clay pigeon shooting with Tim was excellent, chocolate making with Lorge was class, and the kayaking with Colin was exceptional.

Amazing place! We've just spent 3 nights at Sheen Falls Lodge and it was simply fabulous! We had booked a basic room, but it wasn't like any basic room I've ever seen before - it was HUGE! As was the very comfortable bed! Our room looked out over the bay, superb views, but the view from the restaurant was amazing, it was the Sheen Falls that the hotel is named for. We ate in the restaurant twice and once in the Bistro, and the food was excellent. It was beautifully cooked, perfectly presented and it tasted sublime. The staff were great, very friendly and attentive but also very professional.

Well run Hotel in beautiful setting The surprise was that nearly all the staff were French. We understood that Charles de Gaulle visited this area many years ago, but they all spoke good English and were very helpful. The food was good and the service in the restaurant was attentive.. I would certainly recommend this hotel for comfort and facilities.

Charming stay Lovely experience from start to finish. Upon arrival staff were extremely friendly and helpful( they even walk you to your room).Amazing view from the room. Modern yet traditional interior with all the essentials such as an Nespresso machine, fridge, robes and slippers etc. Pool open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Drawing room and library available for guest use, cosy bar with real fire and very relaxing atmosphere. Overall couldn’t fault anything about this hotel and it’s wonderful staff.

"WOW!" There is little more I need to write other than to say this place is above and beyond. It is possibly the most elegant hotel we've yet seen. From the entrance to the private reception desk to the beautiful dining rooms to the manicure grounds, there is nothing about this hotel that is short of spectacular. It is in Kenmare which is literally across a bridge to the road for the Ring of Kerry, maybe 15 minute drive to the National Park. It is an excellent spot for touring but an even better spot for staying, offering no end of activities from archery to falconry to skeet to tennis to kayaks and on and on. And if all that is too much, you can also just sit and watch the falls with a cocktail. AMAZING. I have given out many 5-star reviews to deserving properties. This is the first and only I have encountered where I wish I could give 6.

"First class from start to finish" I had the pleasure of staying at Sheen Falls Lodge for a birthday celebration October 10-15. Since all the activities seemed so wonderful and didn't know if there was a chance they could sell out, I emailed two months in advance to reserve them ahead of time. Their prompt responses and reservations were very helpful. From the moment we arrived on the property we were treated with exceptional service from the greeters, porters, receptionists, and of course the hotel manager. The rooms are extremely roomy with wonderful appointments and large bathrooms. The lodge is very homey and inviting but with absolute luxury. The setting next to the Sheen River (The hotel building is right next to the river) was lovely, and real wood fires were blazing in the fireplaces. The delicious food from breakfast to dinner was of the highest quality and served with every attention to beautiful detail and the restaurant staff will give you excellent service that is positively first rate. All of the activities are first rate, and we really enjoyed the horse back riding (thanks Joyce) and Falconry (Thanks Liam). I don't remember all the staff's names, but I wish I could thank them all personally. Well done, Sheen Falls Lodge!
