"Relax and Rejuvenate at Lough Erne Resort"
Six of us headed to Lough Erne Resort to celebrate our friend's 40th birthday. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredible, very friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the Lodges down by the lake which was so suitable for our group - three good size bedrooms along with a living room and kitchenette. Friday afternoon in the Spa was so relaxing and just what the doctor ordered - Use of the pool, sauna, steam rooms and relaxation area was followed by a divine Espa facial with wonderful therapist Nang. Dinner at Catalina Restaurant that evening was delicious, three amazing courses accompanied by great wine and I loved the use of local produce in every course. The 15 minute wait at the end for the raspberry soufflé was definitely worth it! The variety at breakfast the next morning was great and a perfect end to our stay. The staff couldn't do more - from ferrying us to and from our lodge for dinner in the hotel, to helping with my broken down car at the end of the stay - nothing seemed like too much trouble. The only problem was ... our stay was too short.

"The frIendliest and most helpful staff ANYWHERE!"
What to say about Lough Erne Hotel that hasn't already been said by many others? The location? Beautiful. And visible from pretty much every room, I think. The tranquillity? Oh yes - quiet, calm and the perfect place to chill and relax. The Thai Spa? This is world-class. I'm still feeling the effects of the Hot Stone Massage. After it, I felt a bit like Doctor Who - totally regenerated. With apologies for not recalling his name, but my massage was delivered by a male Thai therapist. I tried to lure him home with me, but sadly, he said no. But seriously, if you get the opportunity - this guy has magic hands. The food was delicious and highly original without being pretentious. The room (we stayed in 223, but I'm sure the same could be said for any other room) was spotless and very comfortable. I particularly appreciated the bed, which has one of those special mattresses which doesn't sag in the middle - there's a bit of a weight differential between me and my other half, and it was great not to fall into the pit in the middle every time he rolled over. Oh, and it's very comfortable. The room was a tiny touch on the warm side, but you can't please everyone all of the time.
The breakfast comprised just about everything a reasonable person could wish for - cereals, cold meats, fresh fruit, the usual bacon/sausage/eggs, etc. and lots more.
But the jewel in the Lough Erne crown has to be its staff. From our initial enquiry via phone call, to check-out (a generous 12:00, by the way), every one genuinely seemed happy to be there, happy to see us and just happy. And helpful. And so very good at their jobs. Service with a smile and genuine warmth.
A truly lovely stay.

"Spa visit"
Visited this lovely hotel for afternoon tea yesterday, followed by a hot stone massage at the Thai spa with the most wonderful male therapist called Sakda. Sakda is from Thailand, having had many spa treatments over the years I can honestly say this ranks amongst the best. Some ladies (like myself) might be put off at the thoughts of having a male therapist, don't be, he is fantastic and you will feel renewed and very relaxed after your treatment. My only regret is that I don't live near The Lough Erne Resort as I would be back every week!

"Luxury pampering experience"
I went here with two of my friends for one of their 30th’s. The whole landscape surrounding the hotel is absolutely beautiful. Being November, the hotel was just being decorated for Christmas so the atmosphere was amazing. We all received different treatments in the spa and were all equally delighted with the service- we also had the afternoon tea, which was really special. I particularly enjoyed the carnation chicken sandwich and the strawberry and cream tea. One of the waitresses opened a box and went through each flavour of tea to choose from. The staff and facilities were fantastic- I did not want to go home!

Lough Erne Resort itself is absolutely incredible. The photos and description on the website come as close ’ beauty, but we were blown away. The golf course challenged and excited my husband and theThai spa made me forget how long he was golfing. I highly recommend the Thai message. I've never written a review this long, this us how much I loved this place
