Exquisite hotel and spa. Our experience from the moment we arrived was exceptional. The staff from every department were kind, helpful and obliging. Every element of our stay had been catered for. When we booked everything I had asked for was fulfilled. The spa and wellness centre is exactly what it says, the most relaxing experience ever, it was tranquil and peaceful,an escape from life's bustle.
The Yew Tree restaurant is culinary excellence perfected. The fresh ingredients, the many elements of each dish was sublime.
Our stay was perfect. It was more than we could ever have imagined

It's a place which makes me feel relax and happy. The staff is very professional, friendly, helpful. The place is amazing, cosy, comfortable, quiet. Diner in the Yew Tree restaurant is always a wonderful experience as it's fine dining. The spa is a very relaxing place, the stone beds being my absolute favourite spot to let my mind run free and forget about the world.

"A must do!"
Stayed here with my husband and family. We had a brilliant time. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.

The beds are so comfortable! The rooms are a great size. The spa is amazing! You feel like you are a million miles away from real life.

Food is really great in the Yew Tree restaurant. Really enjoyed our dinner there.

My husband and I had just got married and the staff at the hotel gave us chocolates and a congratulations card to mark the occasion which was really thoughtful!

Highly recommendable
I would like to say that the overall experience of our two night stay in this hotel was excellent. The staff were helpful and attentive. It was a wedding weekend and they could not have done more. The setting was beautiful. The food was delicious for the wedding meal as well as for the bar reception the next day. There is a beautiful spa and the kids loved the various water features.
We stayed in one of the apartments which were so luxurious that having to walk across the parking area to the hotel was no bother at all! The breakfast, one of my favorite meals of the day, had lots of choice both a la carte and the buffet.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere worthy of five stars without the stuffy feel. The staff are friendly but discreet. Lovely, lovely weekend.

"Amazing hotel and Spa - the perfect get away"
We had an amazing stay at Muckross Park Hotel & Spa. I have so many great things to say about this hotel its hard to know where to begin.

Perfectly located close to the hustle and bustle of Killarney town with its restaurants and bars ,and close to all the sites of interest - Muckross House and Gardens, the abbey, Torc waterfall and the lake side walks.

The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The reception staff are very well informed, helpful and professional yet also warm and friendly.

The bedrooms and common areas are all beautifully decorated, and it has that small personal feel even though it is quite a large hotel. There are two bars - the Monks lounge, a quiet bar where you go for light meals and lunch or
afternoon tea (which by the way was amazing, i'd highly recommend it), or a quiet drink in the evening. The second bar is Major Colgan’s, it is a more lively bar with live music and sometimes Irish dancing. You can also get lunch and dinner in this bar which we had one of the days we were there and the food also is excellent.

I feel the Spa is one of the big drawn to this hotel, it is definitely one of the nicest Spas I have ever been too. The Pool itself is surrounded by tiled pillars and columns with a roman bath feel.
Each corner of the pool has shelf seats with jaccuzzi jets for you to sit back and ease the muscles. As well as an outdoor hot tub and indoor jaccuzzi.
The facilities which are many, include tropical showers, ice fountains, steam rooms ,saunas and multiple relaxation areas . And the whole area was immaculately clean. My favorite was the herbal sauna, which was extremely hot, I loved it. And to top it off there is a beautiful secluded seating area out back on a little decking area down by the river, they have thought of everything.

For treatments, I got a full body massage and a facial when i was there. And both were excellent.

But the highlight of our entire trip had to be the dinner on our last night there. We choose to the fine dining option in their Yew tree restaurant. And it was just an amazing experience. Such high quality food and standards, i would drive all the way from Dublin to Killarney and back just to go for dinner again it was that good! Everything was fresh and seasonal, every single item on your plate was well thought out and went perfectly together. I ordered the lamb and it was just cooked to perfection. No wonder they have received so many awards.

I am looking forward to my next visit to Muckross Park Hotel, i will definitely be going back.

Beautiful Hotel
This is a beautiful hotel, from the lobby to the rooms. The rooms are comfortable and very elegant. We did not dine in the restaurant but had 2 very enjoyable meals in the Major Colgan's bar and great cocktails in the Monk's lounge. The hotel has a great atmosphere, busy but friendly - something for everyone. Beautiful spa too and definitely worth a visit.
