What a fabulous beautiful b&b in the great town of Dingle, I have been to Dingle several time and stayed in an arrange of places but omg did I find a gem this time, from start to finish our stay was amazing, Helen and Brian could not have done anymore for us. The room was superb with the feel of luxury in every aspect, even down to our cup of Barry's looking out at the sea. Afternoon tea available and looked delicious, the seating areas were cosy and relaxing. Now where do I begin with the breakfast!!!! "Out of this World" the lady that served us was lovely and the stewed rhubarb...brought me back to my childhood. Brilliant Job everyone. I will definitely be revisiting and cant wait.

"Brian and Helen are great"
This was a wonderful B&B. The location was great, the rooms and beds were wonderful, the House and parlour were welcoming. The breakfast was amazing! Helen went above and beyond to help us solve a problem. Great stay.

"A gem in Dingle!!!!!"
This charming small hotel is an oasis in Dingle. It's just out of all the mayhem but easily within walking distance if you’ve got to do a pub crawl. Our room was huge, even given American standards, and the bathroom completely updated and modern with jacuzzi tub and separate shower and - most importantly - counter space for all your toiletries.

The common spaces are spacious and varied (you can get away from other guests) and the whole atmosphere screams casual comfort - no wonder this has been voted Best Small Hotel for 4 years in a row. I definitely think it should get the same accreditation for 2018!

"Everything was Amazing"
Castlewood is stunning. Everything about it is perfect. Owners and staff could not be nicer if they tried. Rooms are amazing. The breakfast is so good words won't do it justice. I could not recommend this accomodation enough.

"Dara /Rick Steve’s tour"
The best bed and breakfast I’ve ever been to. The staff are friendly and eagerly accommodating. The rooms and beds are spacious, beautiful and comfortable— gourmet breakfasts and afternoon tea and scones. The attention detail is phenomenal!!

"First Class All the Way"
My husband, brother in law and I arrived at Castlewood on a Sunday afternoon. We were met by Brian who helped us take our luggage to our rooms and get settled in. Our room was awesome. It was large, clean, had a great view, a king size bed, and a bathroom that was perfect. The bathroom had a whirlpool tub and a separate shower. The decor was inviting. After Brian showed us to our room he came back o bring us ice. My brother in law also had a lovely room that looked out on the bay. The location is perfect. Easy walking to Dingle town. Afternoon tea and treats were available each day. Tea and coffee were always available at the front door.
Our first morning in the dining room was excellent. It's so well decorated and inviting. There is a menu that offers many choices. The meal was excellent, served by extremely pleasant staff. And then......Helen arrived at our table. Helen personally greets each guest at their table ensuring everything is good. She makes each guest feel like they are in their own home. Helen takes the time to answer all questions and meets individually with those who want extra guidance or need assistance. She will make reservations when needed and make sure the guests know she and Brian are there to make one's stay enjoyable. The sitting room provides a comfortable place for rest and relaxation after a day of touring. We had the pleasure of staying for 3 nights. I wish we could have stayed longer. One morning after breakfast was over and most guests were out touring, I had the pleasure of sitting with Helen and having a up of tea. We had a lovely conversation about Ireland,Dingle, her children, our family and things in general. She is a gem.
All in all, if you have the opportunity to stay at Castlewood, don't pass it up. I look forward to a return our next trip. Also, there is an elevator that is very helpful if one has trouble using the stairs or have heavy luggage..
Castewood has consistently won awards for the best small hotel in Ireland among other world wide and Irish accomodations. They are truly deserving of these awards.
