Lisa and Clive welcome you to Bindon Bottom. This charming Victorian country house built of Purbeck and local stone is our home, nestled into the bottom of Bindon Hill in the quintessential English village of West Lulworth, Dorset.
It has panoramic views of Hambury Tout and Bindon Hill and is just a five minute walk from Lulworth Cove. It was built in 1871, at the same time as the village church, The Holy Trinity, and was originally named No. 1 Bindon Villa. We feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world and we look forward to extending you a warm welcome.
Lulworth Cove is situated on the south coast of Dorset, between Swanage and Weymouth and is a beautiful, natural horseshoe shaped cove, forming part of the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, and situated on the South West Coastal Path.
The famous, perfect natural coastal arch of Durdle Door is just one mile walk or drive along the coast.
Bindon Bottom B&B is the perfect base for a variety of walking routes, including the South West Coast Path, the Lulworth Ranges or just short Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door walks.
This region known as The Purbecks has its own micro climate and has some of the highest sun hours and average temperatures in the country.
Its coastline is recognised as nationally important for its wildlife and marine species. The geology is equally important and impressive, with visitors coming from around the world to study its rocks and fossils.
