This typically chalet-style home sits in the blissfully peaceful Alpine valleylands, away from it all. It’s a short, five-kilometre, drive to Megeve, where ski lifts can whisk you up the mountainside to the slopes. This is also where you’ll find a wide selection of restaurants and supermarkets to stock up.

The home is set up for families and big groups who want to enjoy a ski break in the French Alps. There’s an equipment storage room for snow-covered salopettes and ski boots and the private sauna and Jacuzzi offer a post-slope wind-down session. The living room is set around a big fireplace, perfect for snuggling up with a cup of cocoa at the end of the day. Plus, there’s a mezzanine-level rec room, with a huge table made for board games, foosball and a dedicated desk and printer should you need to work remotely. The concrete-topped kitchen feels stylish and professional, and you can stock up on French reds for aprés ski with the wine cellar. Outside, there’s a covered dining area and heaters for cold, winter evenings.

*Although there are three ground floor bedrooms and two bathrooms here, the living areas are all upstairs so it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility
*There is a permanent cot for infants in one of the bedrooms
*The outdoor dining table seats 8 so doesn't fit the whole group at capacity
*In a remote location, having a car is recommended and there is private parking here
