Tickle my France-y: Corsica

At an altitude of 560m, this villa is part of a resort that offers beautiful views of the coast below and the foothills of the mountains of Cap Corse, making it the perfect holiday spot for travellers looking to admire the landscape and get back to nature.

Roughly 300m away, you can reach the sandy beach of Farinole, and the centre of Farinole is just 3km away, where you can visit the old tower which was built to defend the coast here during the sixteenth century. Or, if you'd rather stay home for the day, then, spending several hours lounging in this sunshine before cooling off in the pool's waters with its views of the ocean sounds idyllic to us.

If you’re more interested in hiking, then you’re in luck. The GR20 in the Parc Naturel Régional de Corse was voted the most beautiful hiking route in the world, extending over a third of the island and consisting of stunning lakes, green forests and steep cliffs, it’s easy to see why it was voted as such.

Then. after a busy day, why not fire up the barbecue here and dine alfresco on the partially-covered terrace overlooking the incredible panoramas on offer?
