The village of Valbonne is just a thirty-minute drive inland from incredible Côte d’Azur scenery like the city of Cannes and its beautiful beaches. It’s also less than twenty minutes from Grasse, also known as the home of perfume. With such wonderful sights and smells in the region, it’s no surprise that this sensational experience continues at home. This loft is set in the heart of the quaint, traditional town. We love its stony exterior with typically French blue wooden shutters, which continues inside. All the interior walls display this fantastic exposed brickwork, with vaulted wooden ceilings and shiny stone floors. The furniture takes on minimalist sensibilities, letting the striking architecture speak for itself. Open up the modern French windows by the dining table as you sip chilled pinot grigio in the afternoon, letting the sounds of the local town flood into the space. And when the sun goes down, you can head up to the mezzanine bedroom. Parquet flooring and warm lighting make it feel cosy – perfect for slumbering after a long day of exploring the delights of the town and the coastal region.
