From here one can see the earthen colors of eroded cliffs, the whitewashed village houses climbing up the caldera walls punctuated with cascading fuschia bougainvillea flowers, the infinite shimmering sea and sky dotted with the nearby volcanic islands of Thirassia and Nea Kamini.
