Holiday home This single-storey lodge has three bedrooms with TVs including a double with an en-suite shower room, a double and a family room with 2’6” bunk and single, along with a bathroom and an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Appliances include an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher, and for entertainment there is a Smart TV and WiFi. Outside, there is off-road parking for one car and wrap-around decking with furniture. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Sorry, this is a pet-free, smoke-free property. Please note that though the lodge is single-storey, there are four steps up from the parking to the decking. Check-in from 4pm and check-out by 10am, and you can find a shop and pub on-site. R6 makes a lovely base for a fun-filled break to the Lake District.

Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness offers a choice of boat cruises and boat hire to Brockhole, Ambleside, and Lakeside (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated). Nearby are the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and the Old Laundry Theatre.
