“Beautiful, comfortable holiday home in Clifden.”

“We, a group of 7 adults, had a wonderful stay here. Spacious, comfortable holiday home within walking distance of Clifden. We were warmly welcomed by the owners (with delicious scones). Cosy kitchen diner, well equipped and spotless. 5 bedrooms, 4 of which ensuite and 1 with private bathroom. Lovely lounge and sunroom. One of the best holiday homes we ever stayed in. Contact with Connemara Lettings was very pleasant. Good information on house and local area.”

“An excellent place to stay.”

“From the moment we arrived and received the warmest of welcomes from Albert and Maureen we knew we’d made the right choice. They live next door and were never intrusive but always had time for a chat if you saw them and our 3 year old loved their dog. The house was immaculately clean and kitchen stocked with everything you’d need with everything matching in large quantities (we think the house had been run as a B&B in the past). Plenty of space and the 4 main bedrooms are separate from the 5th one (that has the double and two single beds) if you are in a party wanting space from each other it’s perfect! The house is in a good location, overlooking woodland out front. A leisurely 15 to 20 minute stroll and you’re in Clifden town centre. Clifden is a really nice town with some good restaurants and pubs and is great for sightseeing the area. Aldi and Lidl are a 5 minute walk/2 minute drive away. Any downsides? No Sky TV, just local channels (we weren’t bothered at all by this) and you pay extra for the electric and gas you use (again not bothered just factor this in). We only booked this house 3 days before travelling as we were let down by the original accommodation that we’d booked but as it turned out, it was a much better choice. We were really sad to leave this house and would definitely go back.”
