This 18th-century cottage opens its doors to a cosy stay in the heart of Oxfordshire. From here, you can follow hiking trails straight from the door and the nearest pub is straight across the road. It’s also a great base for exploring the Cotswolds and the Chilterns – both of which are within easy driving distance. Back at home, you’ll be welcomed by plenty of character and traditional charm. There is also a projector in one of the sitting rooms and a private garden with a barbecue – perfect for warm weather evenings. It’s worth noting there are low ceilings and varying floor heights here, but this is a sweet option for families and groups in search of a rustic escape.

*There is also a mezzanine level which is accessed by a ladder without rails – children will need to be supervised here at all times.
*Your host provides a starter supply of toiletries, but you might want to bring your own to top this up.
*The fire in the living room is not for use.
*This is a lived-in home. You should expect some of the host's personal belongings to be present during your stay.
*Hen and stag parties are strictly not allowed here. Guests are also asked to observe quiet hours from 10pm.
*Please note the neighbour has shared access to the drive in front of the cottage.
