Spend afternoons strolling along Capalbio Beach, a ten-minute drive away, or nip over to Orbetello, a unique town in the eponymous lagoon, to spot rare birds at the Nature Reserve. Just before sundown, take the forty-minute car ride into Grosseto for a wander along the city walls and a well-deserved bite to eat in a fine dining restaurant.
