Situated on the shores of western Corsica, this bright and modern apartment is an excellent base from which to explore the Gulf of Ajaccio. The place is fuss-free and inviting, with a comfortable loveseat strategically positioned in front of the floor-to-ceiling glass doors, and a dinky kitchenette for putting together charcuterie boards. Spend mornings unwinding on the terrace before heading down to the communal pool for a leisurely swim.

Should you fancy a change of scenery, jump in the car and take the short drive to the idyllic Plage de Porticcio or head over to Ajaccio, the island’s capital city and birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. Brush up on your art history knowledge at the Fesch Museum then seek out a harbourside restaurant for a slap-up seafood supper.
