You can spot the outline of neighbouring Zakynthos island from the edge of this villa’s infinity pool. Perched high above Kefalonia’s coastline, the view from the terrace is practically a bird’s-eye vantage – ideal while making use of the shaded dining table and outdoor kitchen at lunchtime. Glass sliding doors show off the view from the open-plan living room, and both bedrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) have huge windows facing the sea. You’re just outside the charming village of Vlachata, where local bakeries provide breakfast options and there’s a handful of rustic tavernas.

*There's a set of steps from the parking area to the home's entrance so this place may not suit those with limited mobility.
*Your host can provide a complimentary cot and high chair – this must be requested at the time of booking, and you’ll need to bring your own cot linen.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times. Due to the infinity edge that drops off, inflatables are not permitted in the pool.
*The closest shops are a short drive away, so having a car is recommended. There is private parking available at this villa.
*If you're travelling by plane, Kefalonia is the nearest airport – it's a 13km drive from this home.
