Stretching from the front to the back of the cottage, the spacious lounge is a treasure trove of period charm, featuring a beamed ceiling and an original open fireplace adorned with a multi-fuel burner. This serene and inviting room seamlessly combines its historical allure with comfortable furnishings. It boasts a large sofa, cozy chairs, and a TV equipped with free Netflix for ample entertainment. There's plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind together.

Connected to the lounge is a delightful sunroom, furnished with a cane sofa and two armchairs. This inviting space offers a fantastic opportunity for guests to savor a soothing cup of coffee or afternoon tea while basking in the sunshine and enjoying the lovely garden views. Double doors from the Sun Room lead out to the main terrace.

The charming countryside kitchen, exuding a farmhouse ambiance, is well-appointed with all the necessities for a comfortable self-catering holiday. Its amenities include an electric oven and hob, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, a spacious fridge/freezer, and a microwave. With a sizable window overlooking the garden and a large table comfortably seating up to 5 guests, this delightful kitchen provides a perfect setting for family breakfasts or planning your day over a quick cup of tea.

From the kitchen, you can access the beautiful south-facing garden that leads to a smaller second patio area, complete with garden chairs and a table—a perfect spot to relish the early morning sunshine and enjoy breakfast on the terrace.

Moving upstairs, at the end of the hallway, you'll discover a stunning and exceptionally spacious master bedroom featuring a double bed and ample storage. The en-suite bathroom boasts a newly fitted walk-in shower.

Further down the corridor, a charming single bedroom overlooks the picturesque country lanes, furnished with a 3ft single bed, a dressing table with a mirror, and fitted cupboard space.

The bright twin bedroom is brimming with character and charm, featuring two 3ft iron single beds, a freestanding wardrobe, a dressing table, and a mirror. The expansive windows offer breath-taking views of the garden.

The single and twin bedrooms share the modern family bathroom, complete with a bath equipped with an electric shower overhead, a washbasin, and a WC.

Bideford, situated closest to Crooked Lake, serves as the nearest large town and provides all the expected amenities such as supermarkets. Moreover, it boasts a delightful assortment of local independent shops, pubs, cafes, and takeout options. Within Bideford, you'll discover a wonderful park that houses three children's play areas catering to toddlers and older children. Additionally, there's a splash pool with a seasonal café that operates during the summer months, along with an art gallery to explore.
