Set in a beautiful rural location beside the River Ouse in Howdenshire, this property sits beside 100 acres of private parkland. After a long stroll with loved ones, head into the charming market town of Howden to explore its ancient streets, quaint shops, cafes, wine bars and Heritage Centre. Stock up on supplies at the Kitchen in Howden or when you'd rather not cook, indulge in a delicious meal at the Bricklayer's Arms in nearby Laxton (2 miles). Head east to reach the gorgeous Yorkshire Wolds with their low rolling hills and stunning cliffs or pay a visit to the medieval city of York (24 miles). At the heart of this single storey cottage is an elegant living/dining room. With comfortable sofas, oak flooring, a cosy rug, wood burner and dining table, this is a spacious and serene space for enjoying delicious meals and quiet evenings in. Next door, the large country kitchen features chic white units, wooden worktops and plenty of space. Kitted out with everything you should need, this room contains a gas oven, hob, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. This lovely property includes two bedrooms, one master with king size bed, fitted wardrobe and en suite shower room and one twin with access to a shower room. Outside, a paved patio area is furnished with a rattan table and chairs, perfect for al fresco meals and drinks in the summer. There is off road parking.
