This 18th-century home in Chipping Norton provides a cushy getaway for the whole family, even your four-legged friend. It'll suit every season with a cosy fireplace for chilly months and a small patio for summer. We love the cream-coloured interior and open-plan living space, which makes socialising a breeze. The bedrooms may be in the eaves (and the top bunk is only suitable for older children), but that's part of the charm. Plus, you can't beat the location. Pubs, shops, cafes, and restaurants are all within walking distance – and with off-street parking, you can easily explore the rest of the Cotswolds.

*The upper bunk is only suitable for guests over 5 years old. The king-size bed can also be turned into two singles on request
*All the bedrooms and the family bathroom are in the eaves, so they have sloped ceilings. Taller guests - mind your heads
*This home is spread across different levels, so stairs are required
*Off-street parking for one car is provided. We suggest having a car if you plan to explore further afield
*The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound-only basis
*The view from the patio isn't the best. It overlooks a parking lot.
