Just a stone’s throw from Clapham Common, this typical London townhouse is the perfect spot for a family who want to enjoy the city while having easy access to sprawling parkland. If you’re not spending days strolling through the Common, or sampling the foodie delights of Clapham High Street (a two-minute walk away), hop on the Tube at Clapham Common station and you can be in the centre of London in around fifteen minutes.
Our favourite feature of this home has to be the bay window, saved for the main bedroom and made the most of with a desk for those that want to work remotely. The open-plan kitchen, living and dining room has some classy touches, like the marble-effect floor and burnt orange velvet dining chairs. Each bedroom feels plush, with velvet headboards and towering mattresses. The absolute bonus of this place is the private garden (a rarity in London) which catches the sun during the day.
