Bamboo Cottage in Timberscombe, Somerset, is a charming stone cottage that has been transformed into a delightful retreat for two guests. This cozy haven is conveniently located just a short stroll away from the local pub, and the Exmoor National Park is right at your doorstep, beckoning you to explore its natural beauty.

Approached via a picturesque courtyard, the cottage features an open-plan living area on the ground floor, which encompasses a comfortable sitting room, a dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen. A spiral staircase leads you up to the first floor, where you will find the double bedroom and a lovely adjoining bathroom with a corner bath and shower over.

The cottage comfortably sleeps up to two guests and is equipped with all the essential amenities for a comfortable stay, including heating, electricity, bed linen, and towels. Pets are welcome for a supplement of £15 per dog, with a maximum of two dogs allowed.

Please note that Bamboo Cottage is not suitable for children under the age of 7, and smoking is not permitted on the premises. Additionally, the staircase leading to the first floor is quite narrow, so guests should take care when using it. Check-in time is from 3 pm, and check-out time is by 10.30 am.

Bamboo Cottage is located in the Exmoor village of Timberscombe, just two miles from the medieval village of Dunster, with its many quirky shops, eateries and traditional pubs and magnificent castle. Situated in the Exmoor National Park, the cottage is ideal for walkers, cyclists and nature-lovers with an abundance of walks and cycle routes on the doorstep or a short drive away.

Exmoor itself is diverse and dramatic, with its vast areas of moorland, valleys and forests, gentle slopes and rivers. The nearby dramatic coastline, with its coastal path, offers panoramic views across to Wales.

Timberscombe is an attractive working village, perfect for exploring the region. It has a dog friendly village pub. The local shop (and post-office) has all the necessities. The stunning Somerset coastline is just under 5 miles away.
