We love the decadent interiors of the villa – think pinstripe wallpaper, sea green bathrooms, French doors leading to tiled balconies overlooking the sea, and the grand central staircase with an iron wrought bannister by the Italian artist Alessandro Mazzucotelli. If you can tear yourself away from your private paradise, the beaches of Sanremo are a mere 5-minute drive away, and you will find plenty of restaurants excelling in the local cuisine. Should you explore a bit further afield, Nice, Cannes and Monaco are all within an hour’s drive – experience the glitz and glamour of the French Riviera before returning home to your palatial stay.
