Venture to the sprawling Alhambra and you’ll also see a mediaeval influence dating back to Moorish occupation in the fortress complex. Every column and dome here will make this an architecture's dream holiday, but you don’t have to be that way inclined to appreciate what’s on offer, especially not when you sit down at one of the local tapas bars or a cafe for a cup of coffee.

Explore this beloved city in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains and when you wish to get a bird’s eye view, you don’t have to look further than your very own terrace. Head out with a glass of wine and nibbles as you get comfortable in the Mediterranean sun and appreciate the vistas on offer.

When you’re not out in the city or admiring it from five floors up, you might find yourself passing lazy hours sprawled on the couch with a novel. Get busy in the sleek, little kitchen for lunch, kept company by whoever claims the stools at the kitchen island. Chat, cook, and sip wine and when your masterpiece is ready, enjoy it together at the dining table.

A treat of pestiños and coffee can be enjoyed out on the terrace as you watch the sunset together and stay out there long after for a conversation under the stars.
