Ideally located in the Porta Venezia district of Milan, close to so many of the city's historic spots as well as fancy restaurants and friendly bars, this home makes a fantastic base for a city break. Inside is smart and stylish, with contemporary artwork and bold colours that give the apartment lots of character. We love the mini library, ideal for grabbing a book from for relaxing on a lazy afternoon – and the Juliet balcony in the bedroom gives a lovely view over the surrounding neighbourhood. The kitchen is on the smaller side, but you'll have the pick of Milan's best restaurants right on your doorstep.
Home truths: *Your host doesn’t accept bookings from groups of young people aged under 25 at this home. *Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. *Parking in Milan can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible. *The bedroom curtains here don't fully block out the sunlight. If you're hoping to enjoy a lie-in, you might want to pack an eye mask. *The kitchen here is pretty small. We think it's better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
