Unfortunately we were only here for two nights. Our room was large and quiet. The lighting was ample and the internet connection was very good - no problem streaming. The staff was simply fantastic. John, a night manager went out of his way to make our stay as good as it gets. From the reception desk to the service staff in the restaurant, every request was met with a smile and prompt service.

The service was outstanding, as was the accommodation, the food in the Orchid restaurant was fantastic. The hotel is owned and run by the Scally family which probably explains their exceptional attention to detail. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels and eaten in many fine restaurants around the world but this was the best value for money by far. It is a good base from which to explore Cork and Kerry.

I live in Cork and the hotel sets the standard that all other hotels are held up to. We jumped at the chance to stay here when we were given the opportunity. The service is excellent, the staff are very attentive and there is a lovely olde world feel to it.
