Lantallack’s luxury cottages, are situated on a wonderful 40 acre Grade II Georgian estate in the heart of south east Cornwall.

Close to the Tamar Valley and just 20 minutes from Plymouth, both cottages (Polly’s Bower and Pippin Cottage) have their own patios with stunning views across undulating countryside and wooded valleys, big open skies and unforgettable sunsets; these are two special retreats just waiting to be discovered.

We also offer 5-star Gold Award accommodation in the house, in two double bedrooms (one en suite, the other with private bathroom). Both are inviting with deliciously comfortable beds, pretty cushions/throws and extra treats. The atmosphere is relaxed and informally friendly to ensure guests feel at home and enjoy their stay.

Step back in time - life goes slowly here. Hens in the orchard, delicious breakfasts in the walled garden with apple juice from our own Cornish apple trees, sausages and bacon from our own pigs - all produced here using organic methods.

Other produce is sourced locally/organically wherever possible. A straw-yellow drawing room with blazing log fire, two grand pianos and books galore, an inspiration for musicians artists or anyone wanting to combine fun with peace and tranquillity.

And to top it all, a fabulous outdoor solar-heated swimming pool open from May to September what more could you want?

Lantallack is an idyllic place in which to unwind. Beautiful gardens, with flower-filled borders and sweeping lawns. Sit under the Wisteria and watch the swallows swooping across the pond. Take a dip in, or lounge beside, our lovely outdoor heated swimming pool nestled amongst beautiful old 17th century barns.

Wander in May through the orchards of old Cornish varieties of apple tree, thick with blossom and names like Manaccan Primrose, Cornish Mother and Tommy Knight. Or simply sit outside on your own patio, sipping a glass of wine, taking in the stunning view or a magnificent sunset at the end of the day whilst enjoying this haven of tranquillity.

We are close to many lovely beaches - Whitsand Bay, with its long golden sands and the tiny fishing villages of Cawsand and Polperro. Walk along the coastal path to Rame Head, then finish off with a crab salad at the Rod & Line in Tideford and a pint of Abbot’s Ale.

Or visit the medieval National Trust property Cotehele House just 10 minutes away, with its superb collection of textiles, dovecote and riverside walks. Both Dartmoor and Bodmin moor with their rugged granite tors and beautiful landscapes are only 20 minutes away by car and the international golf course St. Mellion is just 10 minutes down the road.
