Our luxurious five star gold award winning farmhouse bed & breakfast is both comfortable and welcoming. Many of our guests return time after time to enjoy the lovely accommodation we offer.

En–suite guest bedrooms
Nanjizal Room with open beams and en–suite shower room. Lovely views across the fields to the sea in the distance. The vaulted ceiling and wonderfully comfortable kingsize bed give this room a spacious and luxurious feel.

St Loy Room is a bedroom suite with kingsize wrought iron bed and lovely views over the countryside to the sea at St Loy. This room boasts a luxury bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower.

Dining Room
Take breakfast in the spacious dining room around the large walnut table. A delicious menu is available with a lovely selection of locally sourced produce to suit all tastes. Special diets are not a problem and can always be catered for with a little notice. Our EnjoyEngland “Breakfast Award” ensures a delicious prelude to the day whatever your choice.

Guest Lounge
Our guests have exclusive use of a delightful lounge. The cosy open fire welcomes you home on those colder evenings. Snuggle up with a pot of tea and relax. There is a wide choice of books and maps. Plan your days out and find the best walks and beaches in the area. There is also a fridge for our guests use.

Garden
With plenty of seating the enclosed garden is a pretty place to sit and relax. Watch the blue tits nesting in the water feature or the swallows and swifts flying around the treetops. Belle and Rolo our springadors are very friendly and just love to be given some attention. You can even take them walking if you’re feeling energetic.

Special Occasions
Downs Barn is the perfect venue for a special occasion. We are happy to arrange flowers, champagne, chocolates or wine. Maybe you would like us to reserve you a restaurant table or book you a taxi. Nothing is too much trouble.
