It was a grand stay and I would love to do it again. Jane and all of my children, especially the bride and groom, Joe and Ashley, had the wedding they had always hoped for. The setting was ideal and all who show interest in it should know that this is a venue that is private, large, quiet both outside and within the individual rooms. It has been redone in a very tasteful modern decor that I'm sure would work well for many different types of events. The rooms are spacious, the multiple kitchens full service, onsite laundry works well and of good capacity. The fireplaces fantastic and well supplied with wood. The views are of course, spectacular and the grounds lovely and parking very accommodating. We had 22 staying onsite and another 20 for the party. Dining and dancing was very easily handled.
Your attention to all the details over the course of a year's planning as well as living onsite for a week or more made accomplishing the arranging of local chef and server staff (with the erection onsite of a full field kitchen), electricians for the inside and outside lighting, musicians, travel arrangements (drivers) to and from the village of Glengarriff as well as a thousand other details of onsite permanent staff management and coordinating the entire timeline, and being the liaison with the Glengarriff Park Hotel in the village, possible.
In short we would all do it all over again in a heartbeat only with you directing the production. A special mention to Esther for her outstanding work in all aspects of design, flowers and general good nature and we appreciate the work of the permanent onsite staff as well. This really is again under your direction a jewel of west Ireland that will likely be sought after more and more. We will be lucky to get a reservation in the future.
