For dinner, enjoy some moussaka on the shaded terrace – we love the sunsets from this west-facing home.

Inside, this stone-built villa is just as beautiful as the outside with its clean lines, vaulted beamed ceilings, wood, marble and granite finishes. We adore the stylish touches like the hammered copper basin in the bathroom.

If you want to swap the pool for the ocean and soft, golden sands, then head to Pefkoulia Beach, a five-minute drive. Or, if you're feeling more energetic, go windsurfing and kitesurfing in Vassiliki. Tsoukalades, 700 metres away, has a smattering of restaurants and shops, while the charming and colourful capital of Lefkada is ten minutes by car.
