The living areas in this single-storey lodge consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, along with a utility. Appliances include an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, two fridges, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, and three Smart TVs. The bedrooms consist of two king-sizes, serviced by two en-suite shower rooms. Outside, there are enclosed decking areas to the front and rear of the property with seating and hot tub. Within 0.7 miles, you will find the nearest shop and pub. Please note, this is a pet-free, non-smoking property. Wi-Fi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rent. The historic, South Lakeland village of Cartmel is renowned as the prettiest village in the Lake District. The Priory Church, one of the finest ecclesiastical buildings in the north of England, remains the heart of the community with its gatehouse forming the entrance to the village. The village features pretty streamside walks, quaint cobbled streets littered with antique shops, a charming gift shop, welcoming, traditional pubs serving real ale, the nationally acclaimed, Michelin Star awarded L'Enclume restaurant, and the Cartmel Village shop, which sells the famous sticky toffee pudding. Take advantage of excellent walking opportunities amidst beautiful, unspoilt countryside, visit Cartmel Racecourse, Campbell Legend Bluebird Exhibition, Lakeland Motor Museum and Holker Hall with its spectacular gardens, all of which are close by. The quiet seaside retreat of Grange-over-Sands, with its Edwardian buildings and mountain backdrop, is a mere 2 miles away, whilst Windermere, with its panoramic views over England's longest lake, is within a thirty minute drive. A superb holiday destination, at any time of year.

Me and my wife recently had the pleasure of staying at watch tree lodge for our mini moon. nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of the Lake District, and I must say it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we was captivated by the lodge's charm, warmth, and impeccable service.

The interior was tastefully adorned with cozy furnishings, blending seamlessly with the rustic ambiance. Every detail, from the crackling fireplace to the softest linens, was thoughtfully chosen to create a truly luxurious retreat.

Steve and Jayne were exceptional, displaying genuine warmth and professionalism throughout our stay. Their knowledge of the area was invaluable, as they provided insightful recommendations for exploring the nearby hiking trails, charming villages, and hidden gems that made out visit truly unforgettable.The lodge's amenities were top-notch, catering to every need and desire.

If you're seeking an idyllic escape from the chaos of everyday life, this lodge in the heart of the Lake District is an absolute must-visit. Its natural beauty, impeccable service, and attention to detail make it an oasis of serenity that will leave you rejuvenated and longing to return. Our stay was truly a 5-star experience, and I cannot recommend it enough. We will be booking for 2024.
