Wallingford Avenue V first shows its colours in the sitting room, to the right of the entrance hallway. The host is a painter, and the white walls are hung with several artworks. A turquoise sofa sits in a bay window, stripy chairs rest on a two-tone rug, and a dining table for six stands in front of floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. To the left, the contemporary kitchen has a woodland feature wall and parquet floors, and further back is the second sitting room, where glass doors lead to a secluded garden.
There’s a bathroom straight ahead of the entrance, and on the left is a staircase to the first floor. The wooden-floored bathroom is left again, followed by a double bedroom hung with more paintings. On the far left is the front-facing third bedroom, and upstairs is the master bedroom, which has an ensuite, a walk-in wardrobe and a brightly coloured blind.
