Those travelling with their pet pooch will be pleased to learn of a dog-friendly stretch where Fido is free to frolic in the waves.

The Le Marche countryside is strewn with wineries at every turn, each offering tipples more delicious than the last. However, there's more to this region than lovely booze and beaches. History buffs will appreciate the coastal towns of Fano and Senigallia – both are within a twenty-minute drive – while Unesco-recognised Urbino is famed for its renaissance court, approximately an hour away.
