When it's time to soak up the city's buzz, step out from this home's decorative façade, and in just a few steps, you'll be right in the heart of Funchal's historical centre, Zona Velha. Brimming with shops, museums, and home to the Sé Cathedral of Funchal, it's an afternoon well spent. Then swing by the famous Farmers' Market, Mercado dos Lavradores to pick up some local delicacies to savour with Poncho sundowners on the rooftop terrace back home.
