Set on the second and third floors of a modern apartment building, while there’s no garden to speak of, the snug balcony with river views is a lovely touch. An excellent option for families looking to explore the Lake District, take your pick from the countless walking and cycling routes nearby. Or hop in the car to Lake Windermere (two miles) or Coniston Water (ten miles) – getting out and about is a cinch with two off-road parking spaces. But if the weather doesn’t buck up, there are board games, a Playstation and Netflix here to amuse the kids (and the young at heart).

*One well-behaved dog is welcome to join you at this home. They must stay off the furniture, and you'll need to bring your own dog bed and towels.
*The apartment has a private entrance and two allocated off-road parking spaces. You'll need a car in this area.
*This second-floor home is set out across two levels. There are four staircases to climb here and no lift, which may be unsuitable for guests with limited mobility.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host provides a free travel cot, high chair, baby monitor, changing mat, toddler toilet seat, and retractable stairgates.
*The super king-size bed can be made into twin beds on request. Please let your host know before arrival which set-up you prefer.
