Boasting river, forest and garden views, The Old Mount Manor is a unique mid-century Manor House, built in 1937 and restored to 5 star self catering in 2022.

Located 0.3 miles from the Mesolithic site of Mountsandel Fort, guest are right next door to a tourist attraction dating back to 7900BC!

A team of local craftsmen, along with host Jasper, saved this unique Art Deco property from disrepair. With this unique restoration it gives guests of the Causeway Coast a special place to call their holiday headquarters.

As mentioned, dating back to 1937, the beautifully crafted interior celebrates Art Deco and Arts & Craft architecture. Along with the special location it meant that restoring The Old Mount Manor and turning it into five star self catering was a no brainer.

Each of the four king size bedrooms have a TV, dimmable lighting, USB chargers, Wi-Fi, clothes storage, a dedicated make up area, towels and dressing gowns. The secret room downstairs has a double pull out sofa bed and there is also a camp bed that can be provided if you would like to bring a eleventh.

The Old Mount Manor has a hot tub, fire pit, BBQ, large garden, outdoor seating and a patio which gets full sunlight all day. A great place to slow down after exploring the local area and catch the sunset. The kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher and all kitchenware is provided. There is also a washing machine and a dryer in the utility. Washing machine and dishwasher tablets are provided for free.

The front of the property has a large tarmac driveway and a tropical styled garden with outside lighting so it can also be enjoyed at night. It also has a sliding gate to ensure no children or dogs can escape. This property has a secret room which guests can enjoy and kids love. As well as the entertainment area outside - The Old Mount Manor has 3 lounge areas, a dining room and a kitchen island which are all fantastic social areas to enjoy while on holiday. There are a number of desks and fast wi-fi in the home which is ideal if needing to work from home or catch up on some work whilst on holiday.

Hot Tub Information - Scandinavian wood fired Hot tub is provided at no extra cost. The smell of this traditional method of heat whilst experiencing uninterrupted views of the forest and the river have proven very popular with guests. For stays of 6 days or more a complimentary refresh of the water is provided. A large amount of wood is provided free of charge, if extra is needed either purchase at a local shop or contact host Jasper.
