With a sitting room, drawing room and fully-equipped kitchen diner, the open-plan living areas are primed for entertaining and offer plenty of scope for families to socialise and enjoy private moments of calm. We especially love the kitchen-diner, with its hand-crafted oak dining table, a piano for impromptu singalongs and bi-folding French doors that open up to the terrace. Overlooking lush foliage, this is the perfect place to enjoy a cream tea in the sunshine.

If you can bear to leave this lavish abode, you're in a prime location for an adventure. Hike through miles of undulating moorlands and granite-topped tors or stroll through picturesque villages and explore the local culture. You're a twenty-five-minute drive from the historic market town of Newton Abbot and just a twelve-minute stroll from the pretty village of Lustleigh. After busy days, fire up the pizza oven and barbecue for an alfresco feast at sunset before snuggling up on the velvet sofas beside the warm glow of the wood-burning stove.
