From the family room, the dining room and the master bedroom, there are incredible views of Smerwick harbor and the mountains of dingle. Directly to the north are the three sisters mountain range.
This is off the beaten path, but well worth it. We could just sit outside and see heaven all around us. At night the quiet was stunning and only disturbed by the bleating of sheep or the mooing of a cow
The house is perfect and extremely well done. We felt totally comfortable and at ease.

Beautiful homes tucked out in the Irish countryside, loved the views and the sound of the sheep in the mornings, well equipped kitchen, House was spotless, comfortable beds. Had some trouble finding the place after a long drive and the neighbours were told to watch for us, so very helpful in helping us find our way.

"Everything was perfect!"

Exceeds my expectation. The place was impeccably clean, loved the layout of the house and the skylights provides spectacular views for every room in the house of either the bay and the 3 Sisters mountains, lots of natural lighting, quiet area, and close proximity to all the spectacular points on the Slea Head Loop Drive. Will dream about going back….
Check in and Check out was very easy. Clodagh was very attentive, she supplied us with some bread, milk, eggs, cheese and coffee/tea to start out.

We stayed here for three nights over the recent June bank holiday weekend. We’re from Dublin. Its a lovely house overlooking the Smerwick harbour- serene does not do it justice. We have 2 little girls, who really enjoyed the house, and of course, Dingle, which is about 15 minutes drive away. There is a nice beach within a 5 minute drive, and several more within 15 minutes. The location is great. If you have little children bear in mind that the staircase is a bit dangerous (gaps between the stairs), but other than this, the place is wonderful. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location and comfortable house. Dingle is a picturesque and interesting town with plenty to see and do, the beaches are fantastic and the ‘foodie town’ label is well deserved. Recommended.

“The Lookout was a great stay! Superb harbor views. Plenty of space for a family of four. Modern appliances and a lovely dining room overlooking the harbor. Thought the location was perfect—allowed for easy access to Slea Head Drive where roads are wide enough to travel it counterclockwise (e.g. access Blasket Center, Mulcahey’s Pottery, etc). Recommend John Benny’s and the Diner (both in Dingle), Murphy’s Ice Cream and the Coffee Walnut Cake at the Blasket Center “forced” us to make three trips there—best dessert we had whole trip. Also nearby was an awesome point hike—stunning panoramic vistas from Blaskets to Skelligs to 3 sisters. Also recommend a quick stop at the very close Dun An Oro historic fort. Not much remains, but very important historic site and it offers the best views of the harbor and Atlantic.”
