Tims house was fantastic, it had everything you'd need for a lovely, chilled little getaway which was exactly what myself and 7 friends were after. The house was perfectly presented throughout and felt very warm and inviting. The cosy log fire upon arrival was a lovely touch. The location was perfect; not only are there long walks around the national parks and opportunities to explore the quaint villages but the the house itself sits in the most fantastic situation with the water running along the drive way and the mountains in the background. Thanks for a lovely stay Tim.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It is very well equipped with everything you could need and the setting on the lake is stunning. Tim gave us very good directions, was very flexible with arrival/ departure times and also responded very promptly to any messages. We would definitely like to stay again and would recommend the accommodation for anyone wanting a quiet escape.

Thanks so much, Tim, for your hospitality! It was so nice walking into the cottage after a long flight, to cozy fire in the fireplace and chilled bottle of wine on the table. It felt so welcoming! I loved your decor and the personal touch of the paintings. My family and I had plenty of room. The extra bathrooms were definitely a plus! The lake and surrounding countryside are stunning! My only regret is that we could not stay longer. Thanks so much, Tim, for helping make our trip to Ireland so memorable and enjoyable!

My friends and I stayed at The Longhouse for a weekend recently. It is such a lovely house in a beautiful setting so comfortable, warm and cosy. The housekeeper Mary had left the lights on and had the fire going which was great as we were a bit late arriving. The house is very well equipped with everything you would need. Tim was a pleasure to deal with and responded very quick to my emails. The Longhouse is a perfect place to have a family or a group of friends getting together.

My friends and I stayed at the Longhouse for four nights and the only negative thing I have to say is that out trip was not long enough. It is a stunning house in stunning surroundings. Tim is a very responsive host and Mary the housekeeper had all the fires lit for us arriving. She was warm and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. This was the perfect place for us to get away from the city. Would highly recommend this house and look forward to visiting again!

Tim is a very professional host and got back to me quickly with any questions about the booking. The house is great. The fires were lit when we arrived which was a lovely touch. Everything was very clean, warm and comfortable. The views are beautiful. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are really comfortable, we all slept really well. We were provided with a wide variety of local information which helped us plan our weekend. The information booklet for the house contained everything we needed to know during our stay. The children really loved the games room and box of toys. The housekeeper was on hand and responded quickly to our one request. We had a fantastic weekend and would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved the long house! It was just what my family was looking for - a relaxing, comfortable, country experience. We want to come back and stay for longer.
