Hungry guests can cook up their favourite pasta dishes in the painted kitchen, before serving their creations in the grand dining room. The bedrooms are equally stunning, and the luckiest guests can wake up to lovely views across the Sicilian countryside. And, outside, you'll find a bright blue swimming pool, ideal for cooling off on hot days.

Sun worshippers can head to the coast and take their pick from the local beaches – Spiaggia di Isola Bella and Spiaggia di Mazzeo are both a fifteen-minute drive away. If you're feeling adventurous, you can take the forty-minute drive into Parco dell'Etna to explore the otherworldly landscapes. And, if a day trip is in order, drive down to the historic port city of Catania in fifty minutes.
