The Humble Daisy is a wonderful detached thatched cottage near Woodford, County Galway. With three bedrooms, two ground floor doubles with en-suites, and a first floor twin, it sleeps six people comfortably. There is also a shower room, kitchen with dining area, parlour with open fire and a mezzanine seating area. Outside, there is a front lawned garden and a rear patio with furniture, as well as off road parking for three cars, and use of a rowing boat on Lough Derg. The Humble Daisy is a delightful base for a peaceful family holiday or a romantic retreat.

Woodford has a good selection of amenities housed amongst pretty, pastel coloured buildings, and is set close to the border of County Clare, just an hour's drive from Galway City.

Towering cliffs stand next to vast stretches of golden sand, whilst vast mountain ranges cradle cool, low-lying lakes. The Galway region epitomises the term ‘great outdoors’; with fantastic walking and cycling and exhilarating water sports.

A stay in the Humble daisy and the Old village barn is a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. The attention to detail was out of this world!! Mary Rose the host is such a wonderful lady that leaves no stone unturned. The accommodation is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. My family had a amazing stay.

Arriving at the humble Daisy was an experience in itself. It was stunning. A picture perfect cottage. When we entered the cottage we were shocked at the size and how modern the kitchen dining area was. Each door opened brought more surprises. Two beautiful bedrooms with large on suits. The cottage was extremely clean and notting was left short. A hugh upstairs that we didn't need but amazing. MaryRose was a lovely host and allows pets in the cottage. Very trusting. We had a fab table tennis table in garden and football net great for kids. It's located in a very quiet area. If u like the sound of silence the humble daisy is the place to go.
