The Eye of Dardanus

Just a short walk from the pretty village of Keri Lake, famous for its stunning nearby sea caves and the turtles that nest on its beach, this new, stone-built villa is the perfect combination of modern luxury and a green, natural setting. Overlooking the sea and set in beautiful grounds with mature trees, lawns and terraces, it's the ideal space if you're looking to stay in this quiet part of the island.

Inside, it's spacious and cool, with natural tones, tiled floors and vaulted ceilings. The open-plan living area has comfy sofas, an extremely well kitted out kitchen and a dining space, with huge sliding doors that open it right up to the incredible pool terrace. Here you can swim in the crystal-clear infinity pool with uninterrupted views of the sea and the rocky islands offshore.

But while the pool is this home's star attraction, it's far from the only thing we love about it. There's a hot tub to relax in and a children's play area to keep smaller guests entertained, along with an outdoor yoga area (we're imagining sun salutations with superb sea views) and a fabulous outdoor kitchen where you can barbecue every evening if you feel like it.

There's plenty to do in the area too, and you can easily hire a boat to visit the caves and the nearby lighthouse for perfect snorkelling and unbelievable sunsets.
