Once upon a time, this waterfront home was a coastguard's cottage. Since then it has since been completely renovated to create a fantastic holiday home for up to four guests, plus a furry friend.

On chilly evenings, you can throw a log on the fire and curl up with a board game or a good book. The bright and airy dining space is perfect for long, lavish dinners cooked using fresh ingredients from the verdant Cornish countryside. Best of all, there's plenty of outside space to enjoy when the sun is shining. Sip a tipple on the patio, then fire up the barbeque for an alfresco feast with a sea view. And, there's no better way to round off your day than with a long, luxurious soak in the outdoor hot tub – bliss.

You only need to take a few steps down to arrive at the waterfront, where you can dip your toes in the sea or go paddleboarding. If you prefer a long, sandy beach, then Tregantle Beach is only a short drive away. And, when you fancy a day trip, head into Plymouth to learn about the port city's rich maritime history.
