For a stunning setting and spectacular scenery, make your way to Monte Pellegrino, 13.5km away, where you can mingle with the locals who come here for a challenging Sunday stroll/hike up to the top. Afterwards, why not reward yourself with a dip in the Med at the picturesque Mondello beach, followed by a self-guided street food tour to refuel after the twenty-five-minute drive back to Palermo.
