We found the location ideal for getting out and about. The accommodation was good but we must stress that with the spiral staircase to the bedroom area it is vital that people have the mobility for stairs.

This was our 2nd visit to the barn and it was just as good if not better than the 1st visit. A beautiful location and very welcoming owners who cannot do enough to make your holiday perfect. Will definitely be going back again.

Wow. Wow. Wow. An excellent romantic getaway. The owners have got it just right. We wouldnt have changed anything it was all perfect. The welcoming pack of bacon eggs bread butter scones cream and bottle of wine went down very well... Burley itself was very quaint and lots of walks. Excellent cant wait to go back.

Five star accommodation, everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday. The welcome pack was lovely, delicious scones, jam and cream, fresh bread & butter, bacon & eggs, tea, coffee, juice, milk and even a bottle of wine. The cottage has been well designed, alot of thought has gone into making a perfect holiday home.

Wonderful experience for us staying at The Barn, a very comfortable, attractively appointed haven in the New Forest. Owners very helpful and the generous food and drink left for our arrival a very nice touch (its little things like this that count!). Location is good for exploring the New Forest and surrounding beaches etc. Absolutely no faults and we would love to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The accommodation was excellent, both in cleanliness and fixtures and fittings. The ’welcome pack’ was excellent. Our hosts were very welcoming, but not intrusive. We even got used to the spiral staircase to the bedroom. Overall an excellent standard of accommodation.

The photos do not do justice to The Barn. In reality it was much larger than anticipated. We had a really warm personal welcome from the owner plus candles, flowers, music and a superb foodie treat. We started relaxing straight away.

A wonderful cottage in an ideal location for touring the New Forest and surrounding areas, we particularly enjoyed Beaulieu, Christchurch, Lymington and Bucklers Hard. There was a warm welcome from the owner when we arrived plus a lovely welcome pack to get us started, they really have thought of everything to make you feel comfortable.

The cottage was ideal for couples - really well equipped and contained many thoughtful extras - the owners have really thought about their guests and what will make them comfortable. The website pictures, whilst giving a good overall impression of the cottage, don’t do justice to how lovely is is. We thorough enjoyed our week in The Barn and would thoroughly recommend it.

The Barn is a spacious one bed holiday home. It is very comfortable and the owner has done everything possible to make your stay a pleasant one. It is one of the best cottages I have stayed in, the welcome pack included home made bread, home make scones with cream and jam, tins of different kinds of tea, i.e. Lady Grey etc, organic milk and bacon and also a bottle of wine. She even took the trouble to ask what bread we would like and what wine! The owner has really got everything worked out and there isn't really anything she could do to improve the cottage.

The Barn is a perfectly luxurious haven, comfortable and well situated for magical walks and trips around the New Forest and Dorset coast. We spent Christmas 2009 there, and it could not have been more perfect. The place was enhanced by the warm kindness of the owners, who not only welcomed us with a wonderfully generous and delicious selection of food and drink supplies, but also a spectacularly decorated twelve foot Christmas tree. This place comes highly recommended.

The warmest of welcomes was offered by the hosts. A personalised home-baked welcome pack, soft music playing and scented candles was a totally unexpected but wonderfully welcomed greeting. The weather was fantastic which added to this being the most perfect, relaxing and immensely enjoyable holiday.
