Inside your home, bamboo parquet floors, terracotta-hued walls and a blend of antique and contemporary furnishings create an idyllic welcome with a beautiful winding staircase leading up to a mezzanine floor.

You’ll immediately be drawn to the sets of French doors that lead out onto a private terrace. Undoubtedly the home’s highlight, start your morning here over espressos while taking in the dramatic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains, and end the night with a glass of wine as the sunset shimmers on the water’s calm surface.

Stairs here lead down to the water should you want to take a dip in the lake, while the villa’s magnificent gardens boast a secret pathway that takes you to medieval Torno’s centre in fifteen minutes. Your host can also organise boat trips for you. With Como also just a fifteen-minute drive from your, there’s no end to the magical memories in store.

*Your host asks that shoes are removed inside the home and to not roll suitcases on the parquet floors
